For many, the journey toward freedom begins in crisis. For others, it starts with the unsettling feeling that things are not as they should be. We hide from real relationship with other people and most importantly hide from God. We hide in addictions and become trapped. Most of us don’t even know we’re captive. Those who do, often have no idea how to get free. How do we find freedom? How do we go from stuck to unstuck? Through the Holy Spirit, Jesus opened our eyes so we can begin to see our captivity to things, money, sex, addictions, a life built on appearances.
